Christina Pushaw, Gov. Ron DeSantis’ new push secretary, locked her Twitter account on Thursday right after she was harassed and threatened on the social media system.
In a tweet she posted Thursday, the conservative journalist turned press secretary claimed the threats commenced following she declared her new gig with the DeSantis administration. Pushaw explained the “waves” of harassment as “disgusting” and “deranged.”
“Hopefully it’s momentary,” Pushaw tweeted. “I have a good deal of get the job done to do & a ton to learn, so it’s improved this way for now.”
In a later on tweet, Pushaw integrated a screenshot of a tweet she received that reported “your dying would not be a tragedy.”
Pushaw’s Twitter bio now says “temporarily locked” and references John 15:18 in the Bible.
“If the world hates you, keep in intellect that it hated me 1st,” the scripture reads in the New International Variation of the Bible.
